I think this magazine is for ages of 16-19 I think this because of the design and layout of the pages and also because of the band, My Chemical Romance (MCR) is quite a popular band for younger generations and to talk about recording studio ect also entices a younger audience.
I don't think there is a specific gender for this magazine as really it would because the band is equally loved between females and males.
It sticks to the three colour rule very well and because of the black, white and red it adds an intensity and a very dramatic effect.
Also the imagery is good for drama and intensity because of the microphone, drums, guitar ect. also the middle smaller image is very interesting as there are all the band members looking like ther disscussing all these images draw you in to see what the articles are about I am planning to use images for a similar effect.
